As in previous years, the format was a parity blind draw with round robin play. This format ensured that everyone had a fair chance to win and allowed players from different divisions to compete against each other. It is always enjoyable to play against players who aren't on your normal weekly rotation, while also providing a chance to get to know new league members. While everyone was there to have fun and enjoy the camaraderie, there was also a healthy amount of competition. The players brought their A- (and B- and C-) game and were determined to win, which led to some intense and closely contested matches. However, the competitive spirit was always balanced with sportsmanship, and the players were quick to congratulate each other on their successes. There were some exceptional performances during the tournament. Jeff Leonard had a 3-dart average of 60, showing off his excellent skills and precision. Anthony Gallegos was also impressive with a 54 3-dart average. Their performances were a testament to the high level of skill and dedication among the league's players. The winning teams were Tom Linsky/Keven Kroldart and Jeff Leonard/Glen Huff. They split the winnings for first and second place. Runners-up were the teams of Anthony Gallegos/Jennifer Walsh and Jeff Hancock/Nicholas Toon. Doug Stevens took home the $100 High Dart Out prize (HDO of 78), which was sponsored by Black Private Investigations. In addition to the tournament and the HDO prize, there were also raffle prizes up for grabs. Some of the top winners included Paul Straub, who won a wine gift basket; Graham Redman, who won a beer gift basket and Seattle Kraken tickets (GO KRAKEN!);and honorary board member Gabe Lakey-Henry, who won his very first set of darts! Congrats to all the raffle winner. Overall, the Annual Winter Shoot was a fantastic event that showcased the skill, dedication, and camaraderie of The ECDO's members. Thank you to The Hidden Door for the exceptional service and to ECDO members for the fantastic turn-out. Members, This is Your Event!What does the ECDO do with your season player fees? A portion of those fees go toward our annual Winter Blind Draw and Member Appreciation Banquet! When you pay your season league fees, those fees don't just go toward ensuring you have an active team. The fees you pay also make you a member of the ECDO. As a member, you are invited to YOUR annual membership appreciation event. That event is THIS WEEKEND! Keep in mind that, as a member, you don't pay an entry fee for the blind draw. Worried your dart skills are a little dusty? No need! This blind draw is a parity draw -- so, those with lower averages will be paired with players who have been shooting better. What do you have to lose?
Looking forward to seeing everyone! ![]() Congratulations to the ECDO 2022 Fall League Team Winners! In the Premier (A) Division, Hard as a Dart edged out The Matadors 13 -11. Hard as a Dart plays out of of Three Lions Pub in Redmond and is captained by John Ervin. In the Champions (BB) Division, Rickety Crickets, captained by Ben Arrington, topped the IncrediBulls 11- 9. Rickety Crickets plays out of Pub at Pipers Creek. In the League One (B) Division, Tripwire, also out of Three Lions Pub, took out Blink-180 with a final score of 11 to 8. Tripwire is captained by Rich Blackwell. AND Congrats to the Fall League Singles Tournaments Champs!

![]() With league play just two weeks away, the Shoreline Deadboltz and the Ballard Tullamore Dew Crew have came to terms on the leagues first player trade. The Dew Crew will be trading Jen Frazier, a spunky right armer from Redmond WA. for Mongolian superstar Daniel, "Hero", Hatanbaatarand and a player to be named latter. Brandon LaValley, the captain of the Deaboltz stated that he likes Jen's go gett-em attitude and drinking style and is happy to have her part of the teams. ![]() During last night's Emerald Cities Darting Organization's monthly meeting the ECDO announced that the upcoming fall dart league season will start on Sept. 14th & 15th with the captains meeting scheduled prior on September 8th at the Pub at Piper's Creek. Captains can now register their teams at the ECDO's Captains Registration Page and player memberships and team sponsorship fees are also now open in the ECDO Stores Membership Page. Captains, team sponsors and players please get your teams registered and fees paid soon as registration closes on August 28th. If you are a new player looking to get involved and would like to find a team please contact the Membership Secretary here. And if you are a bar that would like to get help having darts in your establishment and host a team please contact the ECDO Tavern Rep. |
