As the Spring Season’s Division B Team League wrapped up, it became time to play the Top Eight Singles’ Tournaments. The top eight players with the highest winning percentages for both the Pilsner and Ale Divisions faced off in a double elimination tournament. For the Pilsner Division, it was Blink 180’s Ben Zercher taking the win over Raw Darts’ Austin Embry. For the Ale Division, it was Incredibulls’ Tom Linsky getting the win over The Liverbirds’ Chris Hume. And for the Top Eight Woman, it was Just the Tips’ Amanda Willey getting the win over Spirit Award’s Rachel Parley. With sixteen teams this season, The Bar League was split into two divisions, the Pilsner and Ale divisions. In the Pilsner division both the Motherchuckers and Game of Throwns took early season leads with each team collecting 16 leg won. Notable accomplishments from Game of Throwns Chris Nygaard and Tarasco's Darty Secrets, Cory Rockey, both scoring hat tricks. And team Raw Darts saw two players, Kim Miller and Zack Yannello, both hitting 7 marks. In the Ale division it would be the Liverbirds who jumped into first place with 17 legs won. Notable accomplishments from Deadbolts captain, Brandon Lavalley, with a solid 9 mark and Liverbirds captain, Thomas Clement, with a 120 out. SHANGHAI! Last night Captain Ben Arrington of Pub at Piper's Creek took his rookie team Spirit Award into the den of the Three Lions and defeated the Flight Club 11-7 in eighteen legs.

On Wednesday, January 26, 2022, the ECDO will be hosting its end-of-season singles tournaments for the top Bar League Division performers at 7pm. A double-elimination bracket will be played for the top eight overall finishers at Cooper's Alehouse in Lake City, and a separate bracket played for the top eight women at the Hidden Door in Shoreline. To qualify, you must have played in at least half of your team’s regular season matches. Invitations and seedings will be based on regular season singles win percentage in both ’01 and cricket (alternate players chosen if needed). Format: - Players may participate in only one bracket (either the overall or the women’s bracket) - Winner’s bracket is best-of-three: 401 SIDO, Cricket, then cork winner’s choice (401 SIDO or Cricket) - Loser’s bracket is a single leg: cork winner’s choice (401 SIDO or Cricket) - Cork each leg. 1st leg: Higher seed chooses whether to see or show. 2nd leg: Loser of the first leg chooses. 3rd leg: Loser of second leg chooses.
Last night the ECDO welcomed back live darts as the fall Team League Season was kicked off with the captains' meeting followed by the players' party at The Hidden Door in Shoreline. The fall season will start tonight with 15 teams, including three new Participating Pubs. In a unique play format for the season, the 12 Bar League Teams will each get a chance to play the 3 Advanced League Teams.
