Divisional Singles Championship
In 2016, we are introducing divisional singles championships. Each season, after the playoffs are over, each division’s top ranked players will compete for the title of Division Singles Champion. At the end of the year, all of the divisional champions, plus the top 8 top ranked Advanced Singles League players will be invited to play in the Coopers Cup Annual Seattle Singles Championship.
Tournament and Match Formats
All tournaments will be single elimination knockout. Matches will be best of 3 legs. Games will vary by division but will generally play the same games played in the division (e.g. 301DD and Cricket for A divisions, 401SD and Cricket for B divisions

Down division play
- Should players only be eligible to compete in the strongest division in which they participate (e.g. Singles, A1, A2, B1, B2)
- Should there be exceptions for Singles League since many Singles League players also play on an A team.
- Should there be exceptions for players moving up division during a season (e.g. B1 player subbing and then being rostered on an A2 team) or should they be restricted from playing in the lower division’s singles championship.
- Play on league day between seasons, meaning that they will be played on more than one day.
- Should the championship be played at the top ranked players home venue, meaning each division will likely play at a different venue
- Play all championships on a Saturday or Sunday between seasons at a single venue (e.g. Coopers)
